‘Aquaman’ star Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet reportedly tied the knot over the weekend in a secret ceremony. The couple has been together for over a decade and already shares two children.
In attendance were the couple’s multiple friends, including lovebirds Michael Fassbender and Alicia Wikander, who also reportedly tied the knot secretly last month.
Jason Momoa is now a married man
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet reportedly held a private ceremony during the weekend at their home in Topanga, California.
According to US Weekly, the pair tied the knot in the company of friends and family. Among of which were Momoa’s several co-stars which whom he remains close, and Bonet’s daughter with former husband Lenny Kravitz, Zoe Kravitz.
Bonet and Momoa have been together for 12 years, and share two children together, daughter Lola Iolani and son Nakoa-Wolf. The pair met in 2005 and began dating after meeting through mutual friends. They were believed to have tied the knot in November 2007, which seems to come as a decade advanced smokescreen.
Momoa usually refers to Bonet as his wife in interviews and public statements. “My wife is a very pretty woman. She’s beautiful and I love her. … My wife’s Lisa Bonet. I’m a very lucky man.” he previously said in a 2013 interview.
Momoa is hitting the big screen on November 17 in ‘Justice League.’ He will then return as Aquaman in a solo movie in 2018.
Jason isn’t the only one who got married over the weekend
In attendance of Momoa and Bonet’s private ceremony were Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, who also reportedly held a private wedding in Ibiza last month. The duo was spotted in Ibiza wearing wedding rings where they held “the party of the year” which ignited rumors of the two tying the knot.
The couple reportedly started dating in 2014, on the set of their movie ‘The Light Between Oceans.’ They have kept their relationship private, but they did vaguely speak to Entertainment Weekly in August last year about their romance.
“And I think we’ve made a clear statement that we keep certain things just between us. It was very easy to unite, but that’s quite personal,” Vikander said. Speaking to Elle magazine for its September issue, Vikander revealed she’s looking forward to starting a family.
”I don’t even have children, and it’s the wonder of my world,” she said. “I’ve always wanted kids. I’ve never been pregnant, but I hope to have a family one day.”
“It’s both the expectation and knowing that it should be the greatest experience of my life – and suddenly from one day to another, it’s a reality; it’s a new chapter of your life.”
