Sia reached hero status and posted her own naked picture before the paparazzi could. The singer took to Twitter to share the picture as she said someone was trying to make a profit of it.
Sia’s move comes as a genius in the wake of the leaking of private pictures of celebrities. She recently announced a Christmas album coming out this holiday season.
Smart move, Sia
Sia responded to an apparent attempt by a paparazzi to sell naked pictures of her by posting one of them and ruining their plans.
The singer posted the pictures on her Twitter. The blurry picture of a back of a naked woman has a watermark over.
She announced someone was trying to sell the picture and cleverly captioned it “Save your money, here it is for free. Every day is Christmas!”
The Australian singer is known for being secretive about her life. Including what she looks like. She regularly hides her face under huge wigs that have become her signature.
Sia has explained that she does so in an effort to self-protect and separate her private life from fame and work.
“It was about not having to deal with the unfairness of being a pop star,” she said.
“Not having to worry about camera angles catching your double chin. Everybody in the entertainment industry is insecure.”
Sia is has a major string of solo hits and has collaborated with the likes of David Guetta, The Weeknd and more recently Zayn Malik.
She’s also one of the world’s most successful songwriters, having written for Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Adele.

It’s almost Christmas, indeed!
The clever tweet not only blasted the paparazzi plan but also refers to her festive album called ‘Everyday is Christmas’.
She announced her new seasonal album last month, which is a collection of 10 original tracks the singer wrote alongside producer Greg Kurstin.
‘Every day Is Christmas’, is the festive follow-up to Sia’s 2016 album ‘This Is Acting’ and her first album for Atlantic Records.
The LP features holiday-themed songs like the first single ‘Santa’s Coming for Us,’ ‘Candy Cane Lane,’ ‘Underneath the Mistletoe’ and ‘Snowman.’
Producer Greg Kurstin said the album features fun uptempo Christmas jams and some Sia ballads.
“She is unbelievable, I don’t know how she comes up with song lyric and melody ideas so quickly,” Kurstin said.
“She’s like no one else… What really blows my mind is just that she wrote these new Christmas stories, in a way and it’s kind of amazing that she did that.”
“Everyday is Christmas’ arrives November 17th.
