Tonight Looks Very Promising

The season of awards is finally here. As everyone is excited about the diverse ceremonies celebrating music, movies and so on. Also, the red carpets that are the favorite theme for many. Making E! one of the most viewed channels during this season.

Between the diverse award ceremonies, one dedicated to music are the Grammys. Awarding many musicians’ work. Being also one of the big events of the season. So to get you ready for the ceremony we will be going to give a few heads up of what to expect on the 2017 Grammy Awards.

When they’re.

The 59th Grammy Awards ceremony will be held and live broadcasted from Stables Center in Los Angeles, California, U.S. The awards will be host by British comedian and personality James Corden.

The show will be at 5 p.m,(PT)/8pm(ET) on Sunday, February 12th, and it will be aired by CBS. Also, you can watch the red carpet on E!, logically. But if you’re not in the U.S. you will probably have to wait until Monday, like the UK.

The performers.

Since the award is to celebrate music there will be many guest artists like Katy Perry with her latest song “Chained To The Rhythm.” As well as Adele with “Water Under The Bridge.” Along with them, there will be Daft Punk with The Weeknd and Beyonce, who is not totally confirmed but according to her dad, she will be performing at the Grammys.

There will be many other important artists like Chance The Rapper, Alicia Keys, Maren Morris, Bruno Mars, Little Big Town, Demi Lovato, Andra Day, Tori Kelly, Lady Gaga, Metallica, Sturgill Simpson, Lukas Graham, John Legend, Cynthia Erivo, Anderson Paak, A Tribe Called Quest, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood,Kelsea Ballerini, William Bell, Gary Clark Jr. With many more that are yet to be announced. Along with the classic surprises of the night.

The nominated list.

There are 83 categories at the Grammys that cover many aspects of the music industry. The categories go from  “best surround sound album” and “best notes” to the classical “best album of the year” and “song of the year.”

So there is a really long list and if you are a musician you can probably go home with an award. Also, you can check the whole list of nominees on the official website of the Grammy Awards.
