The 2017 Met Gala was celebrated on Monday night, and our favorite superstars wore their best outfits, including Tom Brady and wife Gisele Bündchen, who also served as co-chairs of the event.
On fashion’s biggest night of the year, celebrities are supposed to look sensational. The New England Patriots and the supermodel nailed, who have been regular attendees for the past 10 years, looked as sexy and flawless as usual.
Bündchen opted for a long, silver gown designed by Stella McCartney. It was created using organic silk with glass bead embroidery. She styled it with a ponytail that let us completely appreciate the super low back of the gown, diamond drop earrings and her dazzling engagement ring, just to keep it simple. As for Brady, he rocked a gray velvet Tom Ford tuxedo, matching his date’s outfit, which he dubbed as “bootylicious” in a short interview with André Leon Talley during the red carpet, while the supermodel showed off his handsome husband. Can someone give them already crown the King and Queen of all-star Prom?

Earlier in the evening, the dynamic duo posted a photo on Instagram of themselves cuddling in the hotel. The football star gave a snippet of his look, while the supermodel was still wearing a fluffy bathrobe.
But Bündchen couldn’t resist, and right before leaving to the red carpet, she posted another photo, this time showing off her tight, blinding gown.
The couple also wore matching outfits the night before
As two of the Met Gala’s hosts, the couple attended an exclusive dinner the night before, and of course, they dressed alike. Black blazers over white tees and black pants. They can’t get any classier than that.
The dinner was hosted by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. The other co-chairs of the gala were also invited, such as Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Huma Abedin.
This year’S, the Met Gala was honoring the extensive work of Comme des Garçons designer, Rei Kawakubo. The exhibition, titled “Art of the In-Between” displayed 150 of Kawakubo’s womenswear designs created for her brand, focusing on how the vanguardist designer followed no rules, bringing as a result almost 50 years of fashion innovation. “She’s been described as a designer who not only thinks outside the box, she doesn’t even acknowledge the box,” said Wintour.
Celebrities are asked to wear outfits that go according to the theme of the year’s gala. Co-chairs of the soiree are always a great indicative of what to expect. Katy Perry stole the show with a red Maison Margiela getup, popping out of the red carpet thanks to a radical embroidered veil.
