The tragedy has made the world stop.

Especially the soccer/football one. But as well has shown that is in tragedy when some of the most honest and classy acts are shown.

The Brazilian club had been living their own Cinderella story.

In less than a decade, they have gone from Brazil’s 4th division to reach the Copa Sudamericana final.

Fox Sports Brazil paid the club a tribute.

By airing 90 minutes of silence at the moment the club Chapecoense would have face Colombian side Atletico Nacional in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final on Wednesday.

The social media campaign.

The sensitive tribute was shared using the hashtag #90MinutosDeSilêncio. Were Fox Sports Brasil only played a black screen and silence, for what it would have been these players final 90 minutes.

Other reactions.

Obviously, the world of football and even the fans of the team have shown their solidarity to Chapecoense.
