Last Tuesday we enjoyed Pentatonix, country star Dolly Parton, and Miley Cyrus joining their voices to make one of the greatest performances so far at The Voice. The group performed the one and only”Jolene” one of Dolly’s signature themes.
Miley is one of the judges at the NBC show, who is currently on its 11th season. At the auditions, she stood up to sing “Jolene” with Darby Walker, one of the contestants. Cyrus also invited her Godmother Dolly Parton as a coach for her team on the beginnings of the show. So it was only logical to perform together.
Parton was the center of attention meanwhile Miley and Pentatonix where the vocal group.
They were all dressed in black for the performance, although Miley’s dress had a flower pattern, but we are used to that, she’s been wearing flowers all season long.
Wearing an all-black ensemble, Parton took center stage on the show, trading lines with a modestly dressed Cyrus as vocal group Pentatonix beatboxed and harmonized between them.

This isn’t the first time Dolly and Miley perform the song.
They performed this song six years ago at a Parton’s concert. Miley has made the tune like her own, singing it in her shows, videos and pretty much everywhere.
Pentatonix adds a really cool style to the performance.
They harmonize the song so good, you don’t even miss the instruments. But this isn’t new since they started five years ago, the acapella group used to make covers of famous artist’s songs on their YouTube channel and look where they are now.
Miley owns The Voice’s stage.
It may be her fist season as a judge at the competition, but certainly, this isn’t her first experience at the NBC’s contest. She used to be a coach helping her friend Adam Levine who’s been a judge since season 1. This time she’s rocking it at the turning chair, and she’s also been confirmed as a judge for season 12 of the show.
Dolly supports her Goddaughter even when she’s dealing with personal issues.
The country star looked thrilled to perform beside Miley and Pentatonix, but she’s threatened as her theme park in Tenessee, Dollywood has been damaged due wildfires.
But don’t worry, they are taking care of the park.

Meanwhile, Miley’s team is going strong.
We are almost at the end of the show, there are only 8 people left. Adam’s team has three contestants, Alicia Keys has two members on her team, Blake is left with one singer and Miley is on the run with two more. If they follow previous season’s elimination dynamic, next week two will be eliminated, leaving one week more to the final.

Cyrus sang the 1973 single at her “Backyard Sessions”, a series she made in 2010 with her favorite classics.
Cyrus shared a picture of the performance in social media.
As happy as she is for singing with Dolly, she expressed concern for the events happening at Dollywood.
Pentatonix also posted a picture.
They uploaded a photo of the backstage in their Instagram account.
