This year some of the most expected movie trailers were revealed. Sadly, we’re still waiting for the movies, but at least we have the trailer to know hat to be looking forward to. One of those trailers was the long expected Beauty And The Beast starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens.
On November we got to see the trailer, and yep they look quite good as Belle and the Beast but, we didn’t get to listen to them. And we all know Disney movies are all about signing.
Disney’ live adaptation.
The upcoming romantic dark musical film was directed by Bill Condon and written by Stephen Chbosky (The Perks OfBeingn A Wallflower) and Evan Spiliotopoulos. The films cast stars such as Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Kline and Luke Evans. The movie is part of the series of Disney’s classics live adaptations, such as Maleficient.
Finally revealed.
After months of waiting, on November the 14 was revealed the first official trailer of The Beauty And The Beast. The live adaptation will premiere on March the 17. A long way to go till there. But we had a sneak peek of what we’ll see to get until that day.
It goes like this.
Belle (Emma Watson) is taken prisoner by Beast, Dan Stevens, in his enchanted castle and learns to look beyond his appearance in this love story. We got to see the magical sets and immediately got caught in the well-known story. We also got caught in Belle’s outfits who did not disappoint at all.
Wait…We’re missing something.
Ok, so the excitement for trailer make us forget a huge thing. We didn’t get to listen to the characters signing, which is a major thing in this movie. And let’s face it, Emma Watson is flawless, but we need to listen to her beautiful voice singing.
Because there’s a lot of singing.
Lucky for us, an audio was leaked.
Thanks Hasbro!
A short audio of Emma singing Ashman’s “Something There” was leaked on December 29. The leak apparently comes from a Hasbro toy that hit the shelves early. The toy supposedly has audio included of Belle singing. Producer Jack Morrissey then confirmed that is indeed Emma singing the classic song, and published the audio on his IG. So, thanks, Hasbro!
So, thanks, Hasbro!
FYI this is the doll.
Thanks, social media!
Lyricist Howard Ashman and composer Alan Menken worked together in the 1991 film to make the beautiful songs that are now classics. The song was performed by Paige O’Hara was in charge of Belle’s voice. And then IG user amfrozr kindly provided with a better audio of Emma singing.
