Perfect.

Ed Sheeran has impressed us ever since he made it through with overwhelming and lovely songs full of incredibly beautiful, emotional and poetic lyrics charged with tender tones that only lift up that writing. With just looking at songs like “A-team,” and “Thinking Out Loud” is just enough.

But Sheeran hasn’t stopped there. As he released his third album ÷ (Divide) on Friday. The album includes already popular songs like the rap monolog in “Eraser,” the hit single “Shape Of You” and the sweet “How Would You Feel (Paean).” Yet he has uplifted his game with the adorable and lovely song “Perfect,” and that he himself has said it’s better than “Thinking Out Loud.”

Best love song of his career.

“Perfect” really is one of the most passionate and romantic songs that you will hear once in a while. It’s the best love song you will hear from Sheeran to date. Since the song is filled with lovely and tender vows, lyrics and sounds accompanied with and epic strings section.

Sheeran admitted that he created this romance wonder trying to beat “Thinking Out Loud.”  ¨I just wanted to beat ‘Thinking Out Loud.’ I wasn’t in any other mind. I wanted to beat ‘Thinking Out Loud’ because I know that song was gonna define me. … With ‘Perfect,’ it was like, ‘I need to write the best love song of my career.”

Future inspiration.

Sheeran also admitted that he got the inspiration for the song after he visited James Blunt’s house. Where they jammed on a very bohemian way, on the lawn, while listening to the Future. As Sheeran stated: “Barefoot on the grass dancing to our favorite song’ happened to be Future’s ‘March Madness.”

“But I had that ‘We were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was, I will not give you up.’… And I had that and I was like, right, let me just flesh that out. And the song happened and was sort of finished that day. I knew it was special.”
