Wes Anderson is a very famous film director, he is well known for his distinctive visual and narrative style, he uses meticulous color schemes, a geometric concept, witty dialogue and much much more; he uses nostalgic colors which give the audience a very easy way to recognize his films. 1. Symmetry

It makes his movies extremely appealing, he uses center-balance. David Bordwell, a film critic, writes that symmetry can create a “static geometrical frame that can evoke a deadpan comic quality.” This is one of the reasons his style is so distinctive; it brings a visual harmony.

Randall Poster has been Andersons music supervisor, who helps the Wes choose the songs and determine the overall music direction of the films. Poster even commented once how music is an elementary process in Anderson’s creations. From the start, they decide the music genre that will dominate the film.

4. Recurring Actors.

Bill Murray has appeared in every Anderson Movie film except Bottle Rocket in 1996, he is a basic element to his movies, being a key to his family movies, some of the most common actors in his films, are: Owen and Luke Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody, Anjelica Huston, Kumar Pallana, and Willem Dafoe.

His stories typically revolve around the family. Anderson’s films are unusually character-driven, in fact, they revolve around the characters background and family. There’s always the bittersweet presence of a family matter as a background; it helps make the story more human.

He always uses Futura, the director has a slight obsession with the font, making its use consistent in his filmography; he has mentioned it was inspired by old Italian movies, which he loved since he was very young. Every transition made in his films is always in this specifical typography.

Ridiculous hats and other accessories usually make for great comedy; he uses them as a way to express the eccentricity of every character portrayed in his films.
