80-Year-Old Chinese Model Proves That Age Is Not A Barrier

79-year-old fashion model, Deshun Wang is the living proof that age is not a barrier to achieving our dreams. Born in 1936, at Shengay, China, he’s passed lived a very artistic life as he dedicated his professional growth into acting, a mime career, and even his own art: living sculpture performance.

He started working out when he was 50 years old and at age 70 he became even more interested in physical activity. After almost 30 years of dedicating his life to it, the elder athlete first stepped into a runway at the Beijing Fashion Week, becoming the oldest working model in the industry. People called him an “overnight success” but they didn’t know that he had been dedicating his whole life to his career.

Wang is turning 80 this year and has no intentions of backing off, he still intends to show us all that’s inside of him. We are dumbfounded by his dedication and we see him as an inspiration for never letting time get in the way of something we truly desire. Hard work pays off eventually, and Deshun Wang is here to prove that to us.
