Everything has ups and downs, and 2016 was no exception.
Ok, ok, so it was a tough year, but it also had its silver linings. Yes, it was difficult, but we’ve been through a lot and that means good things happened too. Cool and incredible things happened right in the middle of all the shake 2016 brought.
Curses were finally broke, we witnessed the tenderness in a Prince’s eyes, cool things happened in outer space and so on. Let’s warm up our hearts, and let’s remember the fact that a new year is coming. We’re still here and can still do more good things.
10. Obama/Biden memes.
Because a little joy in difficult times is always something good. These memes are endless, and so are the laughs they cause. This bromance is simply too good.
9. Netflix.
Netflix represented a great outlet from all the things. And now it has offline downloads, is looking good for this new year.
8. The Rio Olympics.
Nothing like the display of the world’s best athletes to enjoy. A remarkable thing about this Olympics was without a question this picture of the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt.
7. Great things happened in the space.
After living a whole year in space, Scott Kelly came back from the International Space Station.
6. Pokemon GO!
The game that caused frenzy worldwide was the main reason that brought together many people, and that made others actually get outside.
5. Beyoncé.
Needless to say, this woman gave us one of the best albums of the year. Her music was a gift and a wake-up call in this year.
4. Panda cubs.
So, pandas have been endangered for a time now. This year Chengdu’s giant panda breeding program had 23 adorable Panda cubs. Look at their fluffiness!
3. Prince George and his loveliness.
The cute little prince warmed our hearts with his amazement and childish joy. Nothing like a kid’s pure eyes.
2. The Chicago Cubs breaking the curse!
Gosh! After 108 years the Cubs finally got rid of the curse and won this year’s World Series!
1. NoDAPL Movement.
Coming together is always a great thing and this year’s protests against the Dakota access pipeline brought many people together.
