Usain Bolt dropped the mic on James Corden’s show, and let me tell you something, he killed it! The Olympic champion performed on Wednesday night, with some pretty strong lyrics that killed the hilarious host, who was pretty much shocked.
Drop the Mic is a segment on The Late Late Show With James Corden, where the guest is involved in a rap battle against James Corden, or against another guest. Kevin Hart, Cara Delevigne, Dave Franco and Anne Hathaway are just some of the celebrities that have gone through this battle.
“After all those races you won in Brazil, you’re about to lose to a man who’s standing still.”
The battle consisted of three rounds and James Corden began. The host focused his lyrics on Usain’s participation in the Olympics and in the multiple medals the fastest man on Earth has. And this was just the start!
“I’m the fastest human being in the history of racing, you host the lowest show in the history of ratings.”
Usain, on the other hand, got really intense rapping about James’s appearance, his lack of sex and the ratings of his show. Bolt suddenly took off his gold medals and put them in James’ neck, and right there he took it to a new level,people were shouting and screaming. This one knows how to give a good battle.
“Then go ahead and take a selfie with your corps, I know you like a photo finish.”
Round two begins and James mentioned how Jamaican people admire Usain, which comes as no surprise considering that 1 out of 3 people in the country is high. He finished making a reference to the multiple occasions that Bolt has shared “intimate” pictures with women.
“We all agree that your karaoke is super, let’s practice for your next job driving for Uber.”
This time Bolt rapped about James not standing a chance against him since Bolt never looses against a white man. He also makes reference to James appearance, as he says that the only time he runs is when someone yells “dinner.”
“You’re in love with Rihanna; that’s not gonna happen at all if you wanna talk to her here’s my phone just press “return missed call.”
In the final round, James joked again about Bolt’s pictures with girls in clubs and then went insane saying that it must be frustrating to achieve his dreams and still be behind a bobsled team. Ouch!
“I’m about to bring the fire now.”
Bolt went about James show, saying that it should end faster than one of his sprints. And then said that he has one gold medal for each time James has had sex, that’s 9 medals. Damn, Usain is merciless.

The nine-time Olympic Champion went to James Corden’s show to promote his new documentary, “I am Bolt”. This new material has many exclusive interviews with Bolt and shows the athlete in his daily life. The film took 2 years to shoot and it shows Bolt’s desire to achieve the “triple-triple” which is three golden medals in three different events. Bolt is an inspiration for his nation.
