Australia is one of the weirdest and crazier places of all. Especially when you look at their fauna. The stories of giant spiders, snakes, bats, sharks are infinite. Also, they’ve like at least 3 or 5 of the most poisonous animals on the planet. So yeah, it seems like paradise in that sense. Obviously, the landscape is vast and beautiful and has cool animals but we all know they have some of the deadliest conditions as well.
And on top of all the coolest, yet still violent, animals is the Kangaroo. Nothing could be more iconic and representative from Australia than a Kangaroo. And if you associate the Kangaroos with something is, besides their belly pockets, with fighting. So if the occasion came who would be as brave or dumb to fight one?
WTF just happened?
Yeap, what you just saw is real. A man actually fought and won a boxing match against a kangaroo. This guy really has some guts and an impressive right punch. Really one of the few things we know for sure is that kangaroos are good, and deadly, at fighting. If there’s any wild animal that you probably don’t want to get in a match with, the kangaroo would probably be at the top of the list.

It’s said that is never a good reason to fight, but in this cause, we kind of agree and understand why he did it. The reason that made this crazy Aussie fight a title match with a kangaroo was to win his dog back safe and sound.

According to the man behind the video, the encounter occurred during a boar hunting trip for a dying friend this year. When a wild kangaroo got one of the hunting dogs in a headlock as they approached.

Luckily for everyone the owner was brave enough to come and help the dog confronting the kangaroo. Who’s attention was drawn to the person and finally released the dog, as the guy gave him a stunning punch in the face And honestly, if we were betting we would have put all the money into the kangaroo.

Ironically the Daily Mail identified the match winner as a zookeeper. After the video went viral his employer has reportedly launched an investigation and is looking into taking “appropriate action.” since the question of the punching measure was justified or not. Still weird that a zookeeper punches animals and goes on hunting trips.

Despite that we don’t approve animal mistreatment and we get why the zoo owners are investigating him, not very zoo to have dudes running and punching around the wild kingdom in the face. We are glad that nobody got really hurt, and that we can see what a man is capable of for his dog.
