This Real Super Mario Odyssey Mash-Up With GTA Is Hilariously Weird

Still Funny Though

Youtuber CrowbCat put Mario under the ultimate city odyssey, and the result is hilarious.

CrowbCat decided to do his own trailer of Super Mario Odyssey and delivered a side of Mario we’ve never seen before. Let’s just say that Mario found himself in a GTA 4 mode that’s totally hilarious.

As usual, things turn out not to be as fun as you might think, and Mario discovers this in a really raw way. That’s just life Mario, you can do it! And good luck, you’ll need it!

Super Real Mario Odyssey.

The trailer’s parody of the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey takes a huge spin when Mario goes full GTA mode. Mario gets a taste of the city’s hustle and makes his way to town while causing troubles. With almost two million views, good old Mario getting a taste of brutal reality never looked so good.

Mario’s swag, like a boss.

CrowbCat created the parody using mods versions for the PC game of GTA 4. This way he gave the friendly plumber a badass attitude. Visiting strip clubs, getting into fights, even ignoring the cops, this is most likely a Super Mario Nightmare. But boy, he’s got the swag.

The upcoming Nintendo Switch Super Mario game.

Nintendo announced last year the release of the upcoming game for late 2017. The first trailer was released in October 2016, and the presentation took place on January 13, 2017. The series creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, said that the game would represent a “back to the roots” of the series, meaning that the game would appeal to a more core demographic instead of the more recent casual iterations of the Super Mario series.

This time Mario travels outside of the Mushroom Kingdom across different worlds. Exploring places such as “New Donk City”, inspired by NYC. Mario goes on a new adventure on a ship while bragging about his ability to throw his cap. Yep, throwing the cap is a new game’s feature that allows players to reach higher ledges and more. This is the first open world level since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine! And it’s bound to be good!
