Robert Pattinson unveiled some secrets on Tuesday, during The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM. The actor opened up about his status with flame FKA twigs, and it’s really a shame for fans and a call out for trolls.
Robert also revealed an adorably dorky and funny memory during his time as Edward Cullen, and it’s almost unbelievable.
Congratulations are in order…kind of
The usually very private actor, Robert Pattinson, went on Stern’s Sirius XM show Tuesday to promote his new film “Good Time,” which co-stars Jennifer Jason Leigh.
But, apparently, Howard managed to take all his secrets out as Robert delivered more than one secret, including an update on his love life.
As you may know, Robert’s been dating for a couple of years now with singer FKA Twigs. The couple started dating in 2014 and were engaged in 2015. However, the engagement was called off and well, they continued dating…apparently.
When Howard asked if the pair continued engaged, he said “Kind of.”
But that wasn’t all he said.
“It’s one of the most frustrating things in the world, you want to be able to [be more open], but it’s literally like, you get stuck in this position but you have to make this decision whether you want to let the crazy people in….”
“So you kind of think, like, to protect it, I want to create a big boundary, but then it makes it difficult for your actual relationship,” he added.
Robert’s harsh, but real, words are recalling the different time people and fans haven’t been so welcoming about the pair’s relationship. Some have even expressed racist comments and said harmful words.

Almost not making the Edward Cullen role
Well, nine years later, and we finally have an explanation for Robert Pattinson’s looks of permanent constipation throughout the entirety of the ‘Twilight’ movie franchise.
The actor recalled how while filming Twilight, which we all know is about a love relationship between a vampire and a teenager, the crew wanted to portray the relationship like a “happy one,” and an all-smiles Edward. In case you read the books, or not, you know that he was exactly the opposite.
Robert decided to take the role quite seriously and read the book, and he did much more than that.
“I remember the producers giving me the copy of the book, and every single instance where my character smiled and stuff they’d highlighted everything,” Pattinson told Stern.
But he was up to portraying Edward exactly as in the books and took it seriously.
“I got a different color highlighter and highlighted every time he frowned.”
Pattinson’s management team intervened, telling Pattinson he had to follow directions.
“I thought I was pretty safe,” he explained, adding, “And [the producers] were like you’ve got to do the opposite of what you’re doing now or you’re going to get fired today.”
Seems like he won the battle, as Edward’s smoldering look is an epic one.
