Kristen Bell Lets Her Four-Year-Old Daughter Choose Her Halloween Outfit

Bell’s Costume Isn’t What She Hoped For..

Kristen Bell channeled a ‘Frozen’ character on Halloween, but it’s not Anna. The actress let her 4-year-old daughter pick the Halloween costume, and they both channeled Elsa from ‘Frozen.’

And while it’s been a while since we last saw ‘Frozen’ the Disney hit is expected to hit theaters once more with a sequel. In the meantime, ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ will debut on November 22.

Burning her mom in a funny way

Kristen Bell let her 4-year-old daughter, Lincoln, choose the Halloween costume, and Lincoln chose they would both dress up as a ‘Frozen’ character, only not the one Kristen was hoping for. Bell shared a picture on Instagram dressed up as Elsa from ‘Frozen,’ and she didn’t look happy about it.

When your daughter demands you both be Elsa for Halloween … you grin and forking bear it,” she captioned the photo.

Kristen voiced Anna in the Disney hit film, but that didn’t matter to daughter Lincoln, who wanted them both to dress up as Queen Elsa, voiced by Idina Menzel. Seems like Lincoln found a funny way to burn her mom.

However, the fact that Lincoln is interested in Frozen at all is a big improvement from last year, when Kristen opened up about how little impressed was Lincoln of the film.

“I put it on for her, thinking it was going to blow her mind. And she like 15 minutes in was like, ‘Turn this off, I don’t like this movie,'” Bell said. She went on explaining how Lincoln kind of shred her heart and her ego.

“She could care less. It was too scary for her, I think. She keeps my ego in check. But it was too dark, the scene where Anna gets struck and then they go to the trolls and it takes place at night.” At least Lincoln has come around to the sheer joy that is ‘Frozen’.  Maybe next year, she’ll start to think Princess Anna is not too bad as well.

Neverending ‘Frozen’

It’s been three years since ‘Frozen’ premiered and the movie and characters remained quite as loved, and it honestly seems like its power is never letting go. The film made $1.2 billion and is coming for more, ‘Frozen 2’ is actually happening and it’s slated to hit theaters on November 27, 2019.

While it’s a long time to wait,  ‘Frozen’ fans can get a little of Olaf’s fun with a ‘Frozen’ short called ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ attached to Pixar’s ‘Coco’, which comes out on November 22.
