Dunkirk: Christopher Nolan's Latest Movie Trailer Is Finally Here

World War II is one of mankind’s most important events, as it was key to history. Now Christopher Nolan is taking deeps into the topic, in his upcoming movie Dunkirk. WWII is not only one of the most interesting and studied periods of history. It’s as well the theme of countless Hollywood movies. Portraying heroes, atrocities, a bit of hope in the darkest times and epic moments.

So it will be very interesting to watch which approach Nolan will give the movie. As this dark period of mankind’s history not only marked a before and an after on it. It also helped develop many things, especially the preventive and juridic measures to prevent catastrophes.

The heroic trailer for the latest WWII

Going beyond what he already did for some of his most successful previous movies like “Interstellar” and “The Dark Knight” trilogy. Leaving an astonishing aesthetic, especially for the beaches and masses of soldiers under attack. Also, the movie will focus on the dialogues, while action and visuals in communicating the story.

The film counts with an amazing cast, and with a surprise debut. As the movie will have A-list stars like Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy and Harry Styles. Yes, the former One Direction member, your eyes weren’t cheating. Nolan talked about casting Styles in an interview to the LA Times. “When we put the cast together, we had some established names. But for the guys on the beach, we really wanted young unknowns. He’s not that unknown, but he’d never done anything as an actor before. So he auditioned. I auditioned literally thousands of young men with different combinations of young men. And he had it”.

“Peaky Blinders’ ” Cillian Murphy support Nolan’s decision about casting the singer. “I had very few scenes with Harry but we got to hang out and I’ve got to say he’s a great, great kid, and really, really funny. Above all, Chris knows talent and would have cast Harry for a reason”. The movie will be released in the UK on July 21st of this year.
