To get places you have to go through many obstacles and hard times. The harder the fight the sweeter is the reward. This can be summed up in the popular saying “no pain, no gain.” This can also be applied to all aspects of life.
Since in sports, music, art, careers, relationships or simply personal goals nothing is easy, you need to work hard each day to get where you want to be. So from time to time, we need to be remembered of this. Especially when we are down, in order to get up again.
Bitter yet sweet reminder.
Since the Super Bowl 51 is around the corner, many big companies are releasing some of the epic ads they will play in the mid time. The Super Bowl is one of the most watched and highest grossing sportive events of the year, so the adds really need to be extra especial. As they’re some of the best we get through the whole year.
So to commemorate the hard fight the teams have done to reach this final game, and the struggle many of us do daily to get our goals, Budweiser has released a touching yet motivating ad to keep all us going through wind, rain, and fire.
The immigrant story.
Despite all the polemic that has been aroused in the past days due to Trump’s laws and bans. The immigrant tale is something really beautiful, and that is very relatable to all Americans. As many of the ancestors that built the country came from Poland, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Scotland, France, China and so on.
They all built the country stone by stone and gave it that especial vibe to it. Defining how the country and its culture is. This struggle story is present on every American, so the genius marketing department of Budweiser have used it to create a touching, relatable and moving ad which is also a tribute to the company’s immigrant roots.
Against all odds.
All these immigrants that came to what is now the United States, had to go through many difficulties. Not only arriving at a new continent by sea was hard enough. They had to go through some of the same discrimination processes that are happening now. Plus they didn’t know the language, so just to get a job was even harder back then.
That’s when it all started. Since many of them start creating their own stores and communities to survive. Also, this meant the beginning of many dreams and companies, that even nowadays are standing proud in the U.S.
Dreaming hard enough.
The add not only reminds us all these lessons, it’s also touching and has a bit of social connotation, due to everything that has been going around. So we really applaud Budweiser for that.
Finally, we see that this story of superation and going through obstacles is the same shared by many of us. Including Budweiser itself, as the company has the German immigrant background. So they open to us and remind us that now matter where we came from we are all the same, and also that we should follow our dreams no matter what.
