One of the greatest things you can do after office -without passing out on the weekend- is to go to the movies. You can go on your own or you can invite a significant other, maybe even your crush from work.

10. The Edge of Seventeen.

This is a story about growing up. They take very seriously the problems of teenagers and people around them.

9. Moana.

Moana is a Disney princess movie, but this time is a girl that will become chief of her island and in order to save it, she has to sail the ocean to ask a demigod to help her. It’s full of tradition and family values.

8.Certain Women.

This movie follows the story of three women which the lives they’ve constructed for themselves are beginning to come apart.

7. Arrival.

This is a science fiction/drama. The main character as a linguist who’s trying to communicate with a group of extraterrestrials.

6. The Handmaiden.

This is a sexy story about a boy who’s hired by a con man as a maid to a delicate heiress. The young guy falls in love with her maid.

5. Don’t Think Twice.

This is a comedy about how success can change a person and how to stay friends when becoming famous.

4. Fire at the Sea.

Is a documentary that shows the immigrants that have arrived at the Italian islands from Africa and the Middle East. Life of the island’s residents has changed and you can see how people receive and treat immigrants.

Elle is a french feminist comedy about rape and the life after it happens.

2. Manchester by the Sea.

It’s a dramatic story written with comedy. Joe Chandler has to return to his natal town due to his brother’s death to take care of his nephew. Chandler now has to deal with his ex-wife and the community.

Tells the story of a teenager that lives between drugs and is trying to find his sexual identity. Then he turns into a man and keeps making the mistakes his surroundings did with him.
