Rapper Kodak Black Reportedly Shot at Justin Bieber’s Afterparty in LA

Rapper Kodak Black has reportedly been shot at Justin Bieber’s afterparty in Los Angeles on Saturday. Black was allegedly one of the four people shot when a fight broke out at The Nice Guy restaurant after Bieber completed his performance. Bieber, 27, had reportedly just finished his pre-Super Bowl performance at the Pacific Design Center when the incident happened.

According to various local media and a few police officers, Black and friends Lil Baby and Gunna were leaving the venue of the party at around 2:45 am when some folks in a red Ferrari sports car took issues with the rapper’s friends. Black reportedly hit out at one of the people, and then shots were fired.

Police officials said a 24-year-old black man was shot (Black, legal name Bill Kapri, is 24), and three other persons aged 19, 24, and 60 also had gunshot wounds. LAPD said none of the injuries was life-threatening, even though the victims were taken to hospitals for immediate treatment. Officials said one victim was shot in the butt, another in the foot, and a third in the shoulder.

Police are still investigating the incident, but no suspects have been named or any arrests made. In 2019, Black was incarcerated for weapons possession, but he was released in 2021 after former President Donald J. Trump pardoned him.

Bieber’s security details hurriedly took him out of the place when the fight broke out and gunshots were fired. He and model Hailey scurried into their waiting van and left the scene immediately. The afterparty reportedly had Leonardo Dicaprio, Drake, Amber Rose, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Tobey Maguire among others in attendance.

The Super Bowl Halftime show will feature top artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige among others.
