If you’re expecting a romantic and normal proposal then this is not for you. This video of a guy proposing to his girlfriend went viral for all the wrong reasons. Darrell Hamilton Jr. planned a whole romantic gesture in the heights of the sky, but he didn’t see motion sickness coming into his proposal.
Lucky for Darrell, his girlfriend said yes despite the vomit spectacle. At the end, love conquers all and this is a proof of it. At least they have a good story to tell to their children, I guess.

Darrell Hamilton Jr and his girlfriend Rheanna Faye have been dating for the past two years. Last February he decided to take the next step and ask her to marry him.So, Darrell, a video journalist, prepared a surprise to make the special moment even more special. On February 11, Rheanna and Darrell went on a romantic getaway.
This is not what I planned…
Darrel set up a romantic helicopter over Reedley, California. He planned to pop the question during the flight by pointing at the question he had written on the ground.
But things turned quite differently. In the middle of the flight, as the pilot helped him find the question written on the ground he began feeling a bit off.
Happily ever after.
In the video, you can see how he starts feeling bad and ultimately decides to pop the question. Rheanna answer with a yes and then…Darrell threw up.Obviously, nor Darrell nor Rheanna expected that and as he continued to throw up she comforted him. Once he recovered he put the ring on her finger.
No kissing, tho.
We gotta admit, Rheanna took it like a champ and was there for her husband to be. After the uncomfortable moment, the couple celebrated without kissing obviously because huh, puke. Then they took a cool selfie with the pilot.
