Donald Trump’s arrival to the White House has marked for many the beginning of the end. Since for many, he will be a crazy dictator. Since he is the new US president,  if he messes up he will do it big time, in a super destructive way.

With just a few days at the White House, he hasn’t done everything right. Making all these worrying prophecies look more legit. Not only by finishing some very important commerce trait, like the ATP, as expectative for many topics, like immigration, grow as well.

The most recent mess up.

In the few days, Trump has had the power of U.S., he had already some controversy. But the most recent one has come with his press secretary Sean Spicer. As Spicer stated that Trump’s inauguration had “the largest audience ever”. Not sure which inauguration the press secretary was watching. But if it was Trump’s one it’s a lie.

Something that the rest of the press couldn’t stand. They only have few days in the government, but as good politicians, they’re already lying to the people. The reason was asked by NBC’s “Meet the Press” reporter Chuck Todd in an interview with Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway. Who said they were not lies but “alternative facts.”

New Truth.

Conway avoided answering the question Todd made, plus she reacting badly. People start flipping out about the cheeky “alternative facts” comment. As it sounds something a dictator. Like Todd stated many times outraging that they’re falsehoods, not facts.

But the barefaced thing didn’t stop there. Since Washington Post’s reporter Karen Tumulty was the first to point out. Noticing the similarities between what Conway said and things that appeared in the legendary dystopian novel “1984,” By George Orwell. Those common points are not only literally the “alternative facts” phrase. but also that it sounds to be part of the “Big Brother’s newspeak.” The official language of Oceania, that represses people’s thoughts.

The fact that Trump’s counselor reacted this way, very typical of the totalitarian regimes that Orwell’s dystopian novel denunciate, by hiding or altering the truth and its perception. Along with Tumulty’s declarations have turned “1984” a best seller again. As it has raised to number 6 on Amazons Best-selling books list.

Since it seems that Orwell’s novel had predicted for some the chaos that the Trump era presumes. Due to the similarities that Americans are finding between “1984” and his Big Brother and Trump’s cabinet. Something that many other countries have already appreciate in their particular tyrants. Raising Orwell’s genius, vision, and the validity nowadays, as the dystopian novel was written in 1949.

Heading towards room 101.

After watching all this “alternative facts” many Twitter users have expressed their worry. As for the first time, it seems that a dictator has raised to the power in the U.S. freaking out Americans and the rest of the world.

Since for many, Trump’s administration is using “1984” as a manual of what to do, instead of what to avoid. Making all those who were scared that Trump reached the power and warned us about it become more paranoid, and telling us “I told you so.” As only time will tell if they’re right or not. But we really hope that they aren’t leading the U.S. into a Big Brother kind of state or the room 101.
