Ashley Graham took the internet to share a powerful message. Even on her Philippines vacations, the body positivity activist found the time to encourage people to love the skin they’re in. On Wednesday, the plus size model shared a picture of her cellulite with a perfect message.
The plus size model is not only an activist and a badass model, but also a designer, and a judge in America’s Next Top Model. With her message, she gives us one more reason to adore her, as if we need more! Keep rocking Ashley!
A plus size model changing the fashion world.
Ashley was discovered in 1999 and since then, she has rocked the fashion world like no other. She appeared on covers of fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, and Elle. In February 2015 she featured in #CurvesInBikins campaign in SI Swimsuit Issue. Later that year she became the official face of the brand Swimsuit For All.
For many years Ashley faced the discrimination as a plus size model. But this didn’t stop her and in fact, she made history as the first curvy woman to be featured in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition in 2015. Way to go girl!
Taking the world by storm.
Plus-Size? More Like My Size was Ashley’s 2015 Ted Talk. In the 10 minute talk, Ashley explained how the fashion industry told her she’d never be in magazines because of her size. And she proved them wrong. She also talked about her journey to self-acceptance and love and encouraged people to celebrate their own beauty.
Not only her body positivity has reached people but is also taking the fashion world. Last year only, Ashley featured six major fashion magazines. On top of that, she made history for fellow curvy models when she was on a catwalk show at the New York Fashion Week.
Also, she hosted the Oscars 2016 Fashion Panel, she launched her own Swimsuit For All Collection, and she featured DNCE’s “Toothbrush” music video. She was also honored Women of The Year for her contributions to society by Glamour. She even got her own Barbie doll!

The model is pretty involved in promoting health and body positivity. She usually shares via social media powerful messages encouraging people to love themselves.
The plus size model went full honest on Instagram. On Wednesday Ashley shared a picture of her stretch marks and cellulite captioned “I’m not ashamed of a few lumps, bumps, or cellulite”.
People’s response was incredible.
