Aaron Carter Gets Emotional During A Performance At A Gay Bar

The Singer Recently Came Out As Bisexual

Aaron Carter broke down in tears in a highly emotional performance on Thursday night. The singer was performing at a gay bar in his home town, Brandon, Florida.

Aaron recently debuted a new song ‘Hard to Love’ and spoke about coming out as bisexual.

Emotional performance

The singer, who opened up about his sexuality just days ago on Twitter, made his first public appearance since coming out last week at Hamburger Mary’s, a queer restaurant and club near his hometown in Brandon, Florida.

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for all of your love and all of your support with the LGBT community and my announcement. It means a lot,” Carter said in the video.

“Yes, I am a bisexual man,” he said and later pointed out both ladies and gents in the crowd who he thought were attractive before playing a new song about his former girlfriend Madison Parker.

Afterward, he was seen sobbing toward the back of the stage, but fans encouraged him to continue performing, chanting his name.

“I just wanted to say thank you for believing in me again, guys, and even if you don’t, I still love you,” he said

During the emotional performance, Aaron debuted his new song Hard to Love, which he wrote about his ex-girlfriend Madison Parker.

Time to open up

On Wednesday, Aaron made an appearance at The Bert Show where he discussed opening up about his bisexuality to his former girlfriend and the process of coming out.

Aaron recently revealed he told Madison about his sexuality and when she didn’t understand what he was telling her he decided it was time to move on.

“I had discussed it with my ex-girlfriend, and she didn’t really understand it and she didn’t want (to),” he said.

“And that was it! So we left it mutual and parted ways.”

Aaron is now looking to the future. While he’s currently a “single man”, he doesn’t know whether he will end up with a man or a woman as a partner.

“Whether I choose to be with a woman or a man is my decision,” he insisted. “I find men and women attractive and that’s never gonna change.”

He also revealed he is glad he came clean about his bisexuality before turning 30 in December (17), adding,

“I just felt like it was something I needed to do… It was something that I just felt, like, was important and I needed to say. It was a part of a new chapter of turning 30.”
