On Monday, Ed Sheeran dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and delivered a cool rendition of his latest hit, Shape Of You. Ed sang some tunes along with The Roots and the host in the newest Classroom Instruments edition.
Just when you couldn’t stop dancing at this great tune, Ed and The Roots give you a rendition to dance once more. This time it involved a banana and it’s crazy good.
Singing Shape of You
Ed Sheeran joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots in the Tonight Show to perform his hit with classroom instruments. There’s a banana shaker and also an apple shaker, and you won’t stop shaking your body after listening to it! The video already has over 2 million views.

Ed joined the list of artists that have performed with Jimmy and The Roots in the Music Room of the Tonight Show to deliver a unique and memorable rendition of a hit.
Metallica, Mariah Carey, One Direction and Adele now welcome the cutest red hair in the list of participants of the cute Fallon’s segment on Monday.
Fruit shakers ruling the song.
The Roots, Jimmy and Ed had their usual toy instruments, such as ukulele, melodica, xylophone, tambourine, Casio keyboard and there were also an apple and a banana shaker, this latest was in Ed’s hands, and a brown hat, whatever that is.
The musicians performed Ed’s hit Shape Of You in a mix that was far from the pop studio version but that still captured the song’s playful spirit. While Ed sang, The Roots hummed the song’s backing vocals.
What a comeback!
Shape of You was one of the two first singles Ed released fro his latest album ÷ (Divide). Ed released Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill the first week of January and let us know he was back for good.
The songs went Number One and Number Six on the Billboard Hot 100. Last February Ed released the official videos of the songs and also released the third track, How Would You Feel (Paean. Divide is out on March 3rd via Atlantic Records.
