Metallica is so hardcore!
Imagine having a regular day at work, and all of the sudden Metallica shows up and you get to perform one of their greatest hits with them. Well, this actually happened during the band’s last visit to LA. The metal band showed up in a Hollywood Gelson’s supermarket, and people couldn’t believe it, after all not every day you see metal legends in the supermarket.
As part of the Billy On The Streets series, the band was spotted in a supermarket on Thursday. Where they performed a crazy rendition to “Enter Sandman” along with one of the supermarket’s staff members.
Metallica’s everywhere these days.
As part of Metallica’s latest album, the band is basically everywhere these days, even in the supermarket. The band made a segment for comedian Billy Eichner, called “Billy On The Streets” during their last visit to LA. The legends showed up at a Hollywood Gelson’s supermarket and jammed along with the deli staff. One particular member of the staff didn’t doubt in leading the vocals while the band rocked with him.

Jamming session at the deli counter.
On Thursday the band jammed where you least expect it, in the supermarket’s deli counter. In the video, you can see how people gathered once they noticed the metal legends. The group enjoyed the”Enter The Sandman” performance made by the deli’s staff, particularly one boy who is clearly a huge Metallica fan. Rock on!
Hardwired…to Self-Destruct.
The band was in LA for the promotion of its last album “Hardwired…to Self-Destruct.” The band’s tenth studio album was launched on November 18 this year. With a tour starting Saturday the 17th, the album is already a #1 on the charts.
Jam sessions and games.
The metal legends have been pretty busy lately. Last November they were on Jimmy Fallon, where they performed “Enter Sandman” in the segment Classroom Instruments. During the visit to LA, they were on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where they played Kimmel’s “Who knows” game. The game consists of a trivia against a huge fan to see which one of them knows more about the artist.
Metallica at the supermarket? No way.
People reacted once they learned the legends jammed in the supermarket.
What a time to be alive.
Lol, I didn’t see that coming.
Rolled into the grocery store to swipe a few things. S/O to Metallica for distracting security. Lol 🤘🏿 pic.twitter.com/uCryWIkuhJ

The funniest “Enter Sandman” performance.
Earlier this November the band performed along with Jimmy and The Roots the classic song but some rare instruments. Are those Toys?
The toughest game ever.
“Who Knows?” the game that faces the artist against a hardcore fan who swears knows way more about the artist than the artist itself.
