Cats are one of the weirdest creatures on the world. Being that one of the reasons we find them so amusing and why they became the internet kings. As they tend to act in a very funny unpredictable way, and enjoying some of the oddest pleasures.
This got extra confirmed on Monday. When a guy named Danielle Matheson posted on Twitter a scientific breakthrough his mother had. As she discovered a trick to entertain their cat on Pinterest.
The big cat-reka
Matheson’s mom discovered an online hack on Pinterest to keep their kitten entertained. As she texted it to Danielle so she can give it a try. The trick was pretty simple to draw/put/create a square on the floor, and then the cat will get on it.
The trick totally worked. To what Danielle posted on Twitter the incredible discovering, as it works as a cheap imaginary box for cats to play with. Being also one of those ridiculous hilarious things that we love and don’t understand about our feline pets.

Online spread
After discovering how easy, and funny this was, Danielle’s mother’s encouraged others to try the square/invisible box trick on their own cats. To what obviously many attempted and posted their results.
As feline logic works, many kittens cooperated and loved their new imaginary playground. But others knew it was a simple trick played by their humans, who wanted to post their shame on the internet.

Matheson science
The mystery behind why this works actually has a scientific explanation. As it seems that cats see this a new territory to explore, and probably control. Also, they like boxes because they need a kind of “shelter” to feel safe and to look out for menaces.
Despite that, science hasn’t yet discovered why cats are so weird, being probably this the most intriguing and important question. Still, it doesn’t matter what is the explanation behind kittens and boxes is they’ve a very special and strange bond
