Margot Robbie looks unrecognizable in the latest leaked photo from the sets of the movie, ‘Mary, Queen of Scots’. The pictures went viral and fans are just shocked to see the Aussie beauty in such a different way.
‘Mary, Queen of Scots’ is just one of the many projects Robbie’s in. The movie is set to premiere next year.
Margot taking on Queen Elizabeth I
A picture of Margot Robbie on the set of ‘Mary, Queen of Scots’ went viral over the weekend and shows the actress in a shocking transformation.
The picture was taken in London. It shows Margot who traded in her blonde locks for a fiery red mane and her usually flawless complexion for a blemished skin. Also, a prosthetic nose in order to bring the role of Queen Elizabeth I to life.
The film is based on John Guy’s 2004 biography, ‘The True Life of Mary Stuart’. It will explore the life of Scottish queen’s unsuccessful attempt to overthrow her cousin Elizabeth for the English throne. Elizabeth’s infamous imprisonment and execution will also appear in the film.
Starring in the project are, actress Saoirse Ronan who is set to play Mary Stuart, Guy Pierce, and David Tennant.
Robbie joins a long list of accomplished actresses who have taken on the role of the Queen that ruled from 1558 to 1603.
Including, Judi Dench, Bette Davis, Helen Mirren, Cate Blanchett and Miranda Richardson.
‘Mary, Queen of Scots’ is scheduled to be released in late 2018 by Focus Features and Universal Pictures.
Busy, busy girl
Margot Robbie’s career, who rose to fame playing Leonardo DiCaprio‘s wife in Academy Award-winning film ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’, has been cruising upward following her acclaimed performance as Harley Quinn in ‘Suicide Squad.’
The Aussie actress is currently starring in ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’. A film about Winnie the Pooh author A A Milne, in which she plays his wife.
The project is being produced by Working Title’s Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Liza Chasin, and if given the go-ahead, will film will begin filming later this year.
She is also set to star in the thriller ‘Terminal’. Which follows two assassins, a fatally ill teacher, an enigmatic janitor and a waitress with a double life. Whose lives will unravel at the hands of a criminal mastermind.
Robbie also wrapped up production of ‘I, Tonya’, a film about ice skater Tonya Harding, in which the actress plays the lead role.
