Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke Exit Stage When Rudy Giuliani Emerged On Masked Singer

Judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke walked off from the stage of The Masked Singer when former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani emerged from under the disguise. The judges were visibly appalled when it was found that Giuliani had been the contestant singing and dancing under a costume.

Judges Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg remained on their seats after the duo of Jeong and Thicke left in anger. The two female judges quizzed Giuliani for supporting former President Donald Trump to make baseless claims about the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Jeong and Thicke reportedly returned to the show after overcoming their shocks, but it is not clear if they interacted with Giuliani.

This premiere episode of The Masked Singer Season 7 was filmed in Los Angeles, and it will air on Fox on March 9. Fox would not comment on the emergence of Giuliani on the show and would not even give a head-up on the song he sang or the type of costume he wore, but all that will be seen when the show airs in March. It is however unclear if the part where Jeong and Thicke left the stage will make the cut when the show premieres.

The show always catches people in surprise by the kinds of contestants who sing and dance under costumes until they reveal their identities. In 2020, former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin came on the show. She said she was glad to be on the show to demonstrate to “haters out there in the world…I could do whatever I wanted to do.”

And prior to 2019, former White House press secretary to Trump, Sean Spicer, was on Dancing with the Stars show where host Tom Bergeron stated featuring Spicer brought a mix to the offerings the show had. As can be expected, there were wide criticisms when Palin appeared on The Masked Singer and there was also massive backlash too when Giuliani came out under his disguise.
