A cool and clever bride surprised her groom to be the funniest and cutest prank! Elizabeth Gardner surprised her fiance Thomas when she showed up wearing a T-Rex costume for their wedding photoshoot. His reaction is just priceless!

Bridezilla coming up!

Elizabeth made sure to have a lovely and fun wedding day. She also changed for good the term Bridezilla when she showed up in a dinosaur costume to light up the day and make her fiance laugh. Don’t worry she later revealed a more traditional wedding dress.

This bride is dino-mite!

Elizabeth and Thomas got married in November in Bald Head Island, North Carolina. As many couples, they planned a “first look” photo shoot. Which consist of capturing the moment the groom lays eyes on her bride for the first time. To do this they hired wedding photographer Jonathan Murray. Luckily they also taped the beautiful moment in a video.

The wedding day can be stressful, but Elizabeth wanted to make sure to enjoy the moment and share some laughs with her soon to be husband. So she planned a very different “first look” encounter, and she surprised her fiance wearing a T-Rex costume.

As Elizabeth walked towards Thomas in her T-Rex costume, he waited for her with sunflowers in her hands. He definitely didn’t expect to see her soon to be wife wearing that costume and immediately burst out laughing.

Between laughs, Thomas kept telling “I love you” to his bride. His shocked and amused expression was just as lovely as Elizabeth fun and tender surprise.

This Chicago couple is just perfect for each other. You know it’s gonna be a success when both the groom and the bride share the same sense of humor!

Costumes are a consistent thing for the couple since Elizabeth was wearing a Captain America dress when they first met in a bar five years ago. And clearly, Thomas loved the surprised!

After the big surprise, Thomas helped to unzip Elizabeth and revealed a more traditional ensemble. He handled her the sunflowers and they kissed and hugged. Then they catch up as they haven’t seen each other since the night before. So lovely!
