As a way of celebrating The Simpsons’ 600th episode, Jimmy Kimmel left his late night show to immerse himself into the ultimate town of Springfield by the hand of Homer Simpson. Jimmy managed to reach Springfield after Homer started kicking his flat TV and asking Kimmel to be funnier.
After joking about being more famous than God’s family, Kimmel had the ultimate VIP tour with Homer Simpson walking him through the famous Springfield nuclear plant and enjoying a nice bubbly beer at Moe’s.
The TV show host walked in the classrooms of Springfield’s elementary school and in a Bart-Simpson-inspired move he wrote “I will not make celebrities read mean tweets” referring to a segment on his show.
The Simpsons have been part of our life for quite a long time now. The show has been a fixture on Sunday nights since 1989, and for 28 seasons, millions have followed the animated lives of this mustard-skinned family. This famous family is named after the creator’s, Matt Groening, family including his mother, Marge, and father, Homer.
So, everybody’s favorite tv show will air its 600th episode which will feature two parts, for the first part of the episode the show will break the ground, as it will be presented in virtual reality. Yes, you read that right, becoming the first television show to feature that technology.
Kimmel couldn’t let this big opportunity pass by, so without further a due here’s Kimmel’s immersion on The Simpsons.
