Shakira’s smile was almost bigger than her face when one of her dreams came true, the singer took her entire family to her hometown for the very first time. The Colombian accompanied by partner Pique and sons Milan and Sasha landed in Barranquilla on Tuesday.
After spending vacations in the Bahamas, the family of four traveled to Colombia to visit the singer’s loved ones. They are planning to be in the South-American country to receive the new year.
The press invaded their car.
This is the first time the soccer player and the singer visit the country as a family and the press wanted to know every detail of their trip.
The whole family is excited.
Shakira was so overwhelmed with the microphones that Gerard Pique had to answer the questions “We are very happy to be here, our first time in Barranquilla with the kids” but he wasn’t the only one to speak out, older son Milan shared his excitement as well “I’m very excited”.
The family still doesn’t have anything planned.
When asked about their schedule, the singer said “We don’t have any plans, we are going to improvise” she continued “We are here for a few days only”.
They are probably staying a little longer.
I’m saying this because in her collab with Carlos Vives “La Bicicleta” one of the verses says: “If you show the Tayrona (Colombian river) to Pique he wouldn’t return to Barcelona”. Plus, Shakira latest projects are in Latin America.

The vallenato artist collaborated with Shak to release the latin summer jam, it is catchy and “uncomplicated” (see what I did there? no? translate the song and you’ll get it).
4. Her song for Zootopia.
The singer wrote a song for the Disney movie called “Try Everything” and it was so good that was nominated for the Grammys.

3. Dance.
The Colombian just launched her new fragrance “Dance” to the market, this isn’t her first fragrance, she has already released a few in the past years.

2. Celebration for “Fundacion Pies Descalzos”
The singer’s charity was named number one at public schools in Colombia in November.
