It has been revealed that Julia Fox dated Drake for some months before recently lighting on Kanye West. According to new revelations, Fox dated Drake for about two months in late 2019 and early 2020 after her separation from husband Peter Artemiev with whom she has a son. Fox had just finished her movie Uncut Gems in December 2019 when Drake sent her an Instagram message to congratulate her for the movie – and the next was a hookup.
Drake and Fox met in February 2020 in New York City and the rapper took Fox and her friend to Bowery Hotel where they had a drink. The next day, Fox had a promotional appearance at Bloomingdale, and Drake showed up – and the management had to shut down the store, so Drake could shop in peace. A few days later, after Valentine’s Day, Fox flew to Los Angeles to meet with Drake.
The singer bought two Birkin bags for her, with each one costing from $20,000 to $500,000. Following the gift, Fox visited Drake’s 50,000-square-foot mansion in Toronto, Canada, where they holed up together until March 2020 when she had to rush back to the US before the US-Canada border was closed to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
After her return in 2020, Fox reunited again with her estranged pilot husband Artemiev, but they split again in 2022, and she started a romantic relationship with Kanye West who recently got divorced by Kim Kardashian. West and Fox met on New Year’s Eve in Miami, Florida, and they struck up an instant relationship, with West taking her to watch a movie and later organizing a photoshoot session for her.
“After dinner, Ye (West) had a surprise for me. I mean, I’m still in shock,” Fox recalled. “Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date! Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed, but if this is any indication of the future, I’m loving the ride.”
Although West and Fox are dating while Kardashian has moved on with Pete Davidson, one insider said West is still very much in love with Kardashian even though their divorce proceeding is ongoing.
“Kanye has not given up on Kim,” the insider said. “She’s the only one in his heart, and he believes they are soulmates and will end up back together. The other women that he is spending time with are a distraction. He likes the attention that he’s getting from them, but that’s all it is. Kim is still the only one he truly wants to be with.”
Kanye and Drake have never been good friends, and they continue to get at each other through every opportunity they have.
