The Cast Of The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Reunites Leaving Us In Tears

On Monday, Alfonso Ribeiro aka Carlton Banks posted a picture of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air cast together and it’s the best thing you’ll see today. The Banks family and their Philadelphia cousin got together and had a good time, gracing us with the memory of our childhood show.

The picture had rumors running about a possible new show but Will already set it straight by saying that would happen ” like pretty close to when hell freezes over.” Sorry to break your heart, but at least we have the memories and this cool picture!

Nearly 21 years after the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ended, the cast reunited and graced us with a picture and lovely memories. Alfonso Ribeiro shared an Instagram picture expressing his excitement for sharing time with the beloved Banks family.

The cast members were gathered at a charity event in Malibu, California. In the picture, we can see Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), Will Smith (Will), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Aunt Vivian), and everyone’s favorite butler Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey).

Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.

Missing uncle Phill

Smith also posted a picture of the lovely moment via Facebook. He captioned it, “Lunch with my BFF’s… I missed my Uncle Phil today.” The actor James Avery, passed away in 2013 after complications from a heart surgery.Back in 2013, Will paid tribute to him by saying, “Some of my greatest lessons in acting, living and being a respectable human being came through James Avery.”

Down memory lane and back to present day.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was a 90s classic show, that originally aired on NBC, the show followed Will as a savvy teenager who moved from Philly to Bel Air and came up with the funniest things and situations. After 148 episodes, it came to an end in May 1996.

After the show the whole cast continued acting, Will became a huge star who nabbed multiple nominations at the Golden Globes and Oscars and even won a Grammy.

Alfonso Ribeiro won Dancing with the Stars in 2014 and is currently hosting ABC’s America’s Funniest Home Videos. Daphne Etta Maxwell, aka auntie Vivian, is an accomplished photographer and is currently married to actor Tim Reid.

Tatyana Ali starred in CBS’ The Young and the Restless until 2013 and recently welcomed her first son. Karyn Parsons, aka Hilary, is currently married to director Alexandre Rockwell. And Joseph Marcel is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and continues acting in theater.
