To be able to fully enjoy smoking cannabis, one must, first of all, understand what types of strains exist and what are their effects. However, the art of enjoying cannabis does not stop there. If you want to get the best experience and maximize the pleasure, you must use the proper tools and accessories. Read through the rest of this article to find out which ones are essential and what they are used for.

A scale

Every marijuana consumer should have a scale. A Weed scale can allow you to cross-verify the quantity of the weed. It can help you keep track of the amount of cannabis you are consuming. However, you cannot use the same scale you are using for, for example, sugar and flour. These scales are not precise enough and can give you false results. Moreover, make sure to get a smaller scale, so that you can carry it with you. If you are planning on using it only for yourself, there is no reason why you would get a bulky one. These days, you can even find pocket-size scales that are very easy to carry.

A grinder

Something that you must do anytime when you want to smoke weed is to grind it first. Some people choose to grind their weed with their bare hands. This is something you should avoid, as you can damage your buds by crushing the trichomes, which are the ones that contain the majority of THC. Instead, make sure you are using a grinder.

However, not every grinder is the same and there are certain things you need to pay attention to when you are buying one. The best ones are made out of ABS plastic and high-grade aluminum.  Of course, the metal ones are going to be heavier. So, if you plan on carrying it everywhere, the ABS plastic grinder will be a better option for you. Another feature you should consider is the number of floors that a grinder has. The two-piece grinders will be easier to use and certainly lighter. On the other hand, the 3 or 4-floored grinders are going to be heavier but will process the cannabis better. This is because they usually come with an extra compartment that catches the kief and pollen.

Filters and rolling papers

Filters and rolling papers are certainly necessary items that every weed smoker should have. But, as with anything else, the quality of these items matters a lot as well. If you buy bad-quality rolling papers, the flavor of your joint will probably be bad as well. As a general rule, you should buy the thinner types of rolling paper. They might be harder to roll, but they will allow you to have the maximum pleasure and benefits. Moreover, avoid bleached, white papers, as they can alter the taste of the weed a lot. Instead, use the unbleached, organic types of rolling papers. And even though filters are not necessary when you smoke weed, if you do use them, make sure to choose some better quality ones. The cheap filters are usually not too good in filtering the smoke.

A stash box

Stash boxes are used for weed storage and its protection. So, to make sure that your marijuana is not going bad, due to outside factors, make sure to buy a good stash box. The reason why most people do not use just a random can is that they are not smell-proof nor airtight.  In other words, if you store your weed like that, you will carry the smell around with you and you will not be protecting it well either. So basically, the best way to go is to buy a stash box specifically made for weed storage.

A rolling tray

To be able to roll a good joint, you need to have a flat surface available. You can do it on a book or a table, but by doing so, you risk rolling up some dust, pet hair, or other things you would not want in your joint. Moreover, if you are hanging out outside with your friends, it might be hard to find a good flat surface to roll your weed on. So, to avoid all of these situations, make sure you buy a rolling tray. That way you will always have a good flat surface for rolling, and you will never spill any weed in the process.

Hemp wraps

If you are someone who prefers blunts over joints, pipes, and bongs, then hemp wraps are the right thing for you. Hemp wraps offer a healthier, cleaner smoke, as they do not have any of the tobacco or nicotine additives. Because of this, you will also avoid the stimulative effects that nicotine and tobacco cause. Instead, you will be able to have a more relaxing experience.

A blunt slicer

Speaking of blunts, if you cannot get those tobacco-free wraps, make sure to get a blunt cutter. If you split your blunts by hand, those problematic rips and tears in the wrap can occur. They can cause the weed to fall out or even a problematic burn. When you use a blunt slicer, you will achieve a perfect cut every time.

A torch lighter

If you have been smoking cannabis for a while, you have probably noticed that the experience differs depending on what type of lighter you are using. When you use a classic cigarette lighter or even matches, the burn will not be even. On the other hand, when you use a torch lighter, you will get that perfect, even burn, and will have no problem firing up your smoke in windy weather.

Post-smoke toiletries

If you do not appreciate the smell of weed that is left after you smoke, make sure to keep a breath freshener and a cologne with you. Moreover, if your eyes get red after you smoke a joint, be sure to keep eye drops on hand.

As marijuana has become more popular throughout the years, the number and type of weed tools and accessories have risen. Of course, not all of them are necessary to have. The ones mentioned in this article are all that you need. So, before you go and buy some additional stuff, make sure that you first get the things mentioned above.
