Following the whirlwind news that Max Ehrich and Demi Lovato had broken up after two months of engagement, the social media has been rife with speculations on why the two superstars would call it quits a very short dating period. Although many of Demi’s friends had been expressing doubts about Max’s seriousness with the engagement, many fans across the world hoped that their relationship would lead them down the aisle.
However, it has come out into the open that Demi and Max split apart because of the tensions caused by their careers, most especially the unexpected rounds of successes that greeted Max. Inside sources who would not want to be quoted directly stated that everything had been fine between the lovebirds until Max’s sudden rise to stardom which the two of them obviously couldn’t handle well enough. The rise to fame brought conflicts and the couple found themselves drifting apart until they decided to go their separate ways.
“Demi and Max were basically together 24/7 for months,” friends said. “They lived in a bubble with zero stress, and everything was just fun. Now they are both working and are on separate coasts. They were having conflicts. Max shot up in fame, and it’s been hard. He got wrapped up in [Hollywood].”
The sources said Max wanted to make the most of the career opportunities that came his way after his engagement to Demi and so had very little time for her. It also seemed that Max exhibited some sort of a career advantage over his fiancee and then things went north when he placed his career and success above her. All things considered, it seemed the engagement with Demi really brought good fortune to Max and he exploited it to the full with little regard for his fiance’ interests.
It must however be noted that both now-ex has not made any public comments about their split and friends said it is because of the respect they have for each other. “They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together,” they said.
