Heartwarming story coming up!
A couple that married in 1946, finally got their wedding photoshoot 70 years later, and the pictures are way too adorable. After raising four kids, and welcoming 8 grandchildren, Margaret and Ferris who celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary and got the cutest wedding photo shoot.
Margaret and Ferris Romaire kept things simple back in the days. They married in a quick ceremony in 1946, but no one had cameras to capture the moment. So, now their granddaughter Amanda Lackey, gave them the sweetest present, a photo shoot.
Margaret and Ferris were high school sweethearts and formalized their relationship in 1946.
They got married when Ferris came back home from World War II. They did a quick ceremony and a reception at Margaret’s parents’ house, but since no one had a camera, there are no records of that special day.
70 years later, they shared the same love and commitment.
The couple recently celebrated their 70th anniversary and their granddaughter Amanda Kleckley decided to give them what they didn’t get to have 70 years before.
Cutest wedding photo shoots ever.
So, Amanda got photographer Lara Carter to do the photos, this way she gave her grandparents what the long marriage didn’t have, their wedding photo shoot.
Big day.
Ferris wore a tux, and looked super handsome, while Margaret wore a lavender gown and even wore a veil, gorgeous. The pictures are simply beautiful and magical.
Beautiful celebration.
The Romaires, are an example of commitment and how marriage is meant to be.
Flowers and pictures.
The couple brought pictures of them in the early days, and gave it a romantic touch to the photo shoot.
Laughing like the first day.
Margaret, who is 89, and Ferris, 90, burst with joy and love. The couple still laughs as the very first day.
Love, love, love.
Carter was amazed and touched by the couple, she said “They didn’t have lots of money, but they had lots of shared values ― the love of children, a good work ethic, a strong faith in God, and a sense of humor”
Hard work and commitment.
The couple still lives in the house they built, 65 years ago, for their family.
They have built a lot together.
In their 70 years together, they have raised 4 children and enjoyed their 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Lovely.
You can see the love they share by the way they look at each other, and 70 years of marriage are a clear testimony of that love.
Forever is a lifetime.
The Romaires are the cutest example and proof of love and how forever can sometimes really mean forever.
Cheers to them!
May they share many more years of love.
