This week’s guest star at Carpool Karaoke was Bruno Mars and I’m sure it will exceed your expectations. They drove around Los Angeles as usual, but the funk that Mars brought to the car is unbelievable. They started to sing right away, like second two of the video.
Bruno was cheering James to sing even louder. The dance moves, the music, everything made you wanna get in that car and jam with them. Such a cool vibe!
They have so much boy band material.
Corden and Mars really get along. They talked about clothes, hats, sex, and music. And of course, they did some pretty good jamming along Bruno’s greatest hits.
It was all about hats.
James is absolutely impressed by Bruno’s outfits, especially the way that he can pull off any But the singer explained to us the mystery behind his hats: “It’s all bout this hair, I don’t know what to do with it”. James tried to master the hat thing, but he failed.
Bruno wanted to become a musician since he made an impression of Elvis.
He was four years old at the moment. The memory is so fresh he can even do the “lip thing”. Bruno sang a bit of the song he performed when he was little, Elvis hit “Jailhouse Rock”.
James gave Mars a little lyric advice.
They were talking about how romantic Bruno makes everything sound, but at the practice, it wasn’t that good and he was missing some parts (talking about undressing a woman) the performer took a mental note and said he would add it to the re-make of the song.
Bruno gave the host dancing lessons.
He knows some sexy moves and was teaching James to do them. It was a whole choreography, I need to say James nailed them.
They titled a new album out of the things Bruno wants in his dressing room.
It was so simple “Booze, water and wet wipes” what sounded as a good night for Bruno, it was the terrible ending of a night for James. They decided to make a new album and song called “Wine and wet wipes” the rhythm goes just like “Uptown Funk”.
Bruno is an expert at poker.
When he moved to LA he used to pay his rent with the money he won by playing poker. He has the ultimate poker face. But to be honest, I like James’ better.
There was an outfit change.
James pulled off Bruno’s style wearing a gold necklace, a printed shirt and shorts and a cool cap that matches the one that Mars had on. Too much funk from those two.
