Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock Designs New Sneakers To Support Planned Parenthood

Artists usually teaming up with brands to put things in the right place. Since they have tons of followers they can get a message to the people in a way they might understand it better. Or simply will add on to their cause because they admire the celebrity, whatever works for you.

Now Former Beatie Boy and now public figure Ad-Rock, a.k.a Adam Horovitz, stood up for social rights and the respect earlier this month, in a memorial park of his late bandmate Adam Yauch. He has been very active since now he is fighting “for the right to part” of women.

Adam Horovitz announced that he will partner up with the Los Angeles-based vegan footwear brand , Keep.

To create a new line of sneakers. “Winter’s cold and I couldn’t find a warm sneaker to walk around in. Given the outcome of our current election, it’s gonna get a lot colder before we can feel that summer sun again” Horovitz wrote in a statement to Pitchfork.

The profits will be donated to Planned Parenthood.

Which provides reproductive health services, sex ed, and assistance not only in the US but worldwide, and also goes by the motto, “care no matter what”

Ad-Rock stated.

“Net proceeds of this shoe will be donated to Planned Parenthood because I support a woman’s right to choose and feel that women should not be punished for making decisions about their own lives and bodies,” he wrote. “If you have similar beliefs, you might wanna grab a pair.”

The sneakers will cost 97$ (USD)

Even though it might sound expensive the investment, it will go to help Planned Parenthood’s informative and good cause and will be friendly with the environment.
