Ariana Grande took her Twitter account to create conscience about sexism after a fan approached her and her boyfriend with an offensive comment. She was getting on the car after picking up food with Mac Miller, when a young boy told him “Ariana is sexy as hell man, I see you, I see you hitting that”.
The singer was so concern and disgusted by the comment, that she had to speak out on the social media platform about the problem. She assured that the objectification of women shouldn’t happen and girls shouldn’t stay still about it.
We are not prized.
She said that these situations contribute to women’s sense of fear and inadequacy.

Grande was deeply hurt by the comment.
This guy said it right in front of her, she shared “I am not a piece of meat that a man gets to utilize for his pleasure. I’m an adult human being in a relationship with a man who treats me with love and respect.”
Women often feel shame due situations like this.
“We need to be vocal and share when something makes us feel uncomfortable because if we don’t, it will just continue”.
This isn’t the fist time she puts a guy in its place,
Last year, Ariana attended a radio interview at Power 106 FM, where she was almost attacked with several sexists comments from the hosts of the show, Grande defended women every time and it was almost ridiculous how the guys continued with their offensive allegations. She was very nice but didn’t hold back, the singer was almost about to leave the interview.
Many artists have suffered from sexism.
Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Bjork are just some of the names on the list. Alicia Keys was asked to unbutton her shirt lower “I trusted people and then I would see things back and feel embarrassed and uncomfortable, that kind of set me on my path to be stronger about not letting people tell you anything.”
