You might think Amy Schumer doesn’t have a soul since she’s a comedian and makes fun of… well, everything, but turns out she does have a heart and it’s made of gold. Amy bought her dad the farm they lost when she was a child.
The actress posted a video and a picture on Instagram sharing the news with everyone. She made her father very happy as you can see in the post. What a sweetheart!.
They lost it all when she was 9.
She posted a throwback on the social media platform of herself as a little girl on the farm. “Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me,” she captioned the photo.
Her family had to face bankruptcy.
“We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him.” she wrote in the post.
It was a hard time for Amy.
Not only they lost the farm, but her father received a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. Three years later, her parents got divorced.
“Today I bought my father’s farm back”
The 35-year-old delivered the news to her father Gordon through FaceTime. The emotion in her dad’s face is priceless.
Amy keeps her family together.
“In terms of my dad being sick, it was just confusing to me, especially the way MS works,” she told ABC News last year “He was in physical pain. That’s when I kind of took the lead and took care of everybody in my family. I would keep them — I would keep everybody laughing.”
She definitely deserves the best daughter award.
People on Instagram were reacting to the news, supporting Amy and telling her what a wonderful thing she did to her father.
Not only gorgeous on the inside but on the outside as well.
She was cast to play Mattel’s most iconic doll, Barbie. The movie will be about feminism and true beauty, obviously, it will be a funny film. Although she has faced many critics for her body contexture, Schumer is still interested in the part.
