After 10 Years, Mamma Mia 2, The Sequel Trailer Is Finally Here

It’s been 10 years since the musical premiere of “Mamma Mia” starring Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, and Pierce Brosnan.

To commemorate its 10th anniversary, Universal Pictures is cooking a sequel, which we will certainly eat with all the enthusiasm of the world next summer!

Here We Go Again

This sequel to the success that made us sing Oh Honey Honey! is going to happen. Are you ready for this musical full of laughs? The ABBA songs will be back for next summer to feel like a dancing queen. Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth and the rest of the cast.

The main idea is to rescue the ABBA songs that we could not hear in the first movie while exploring the past and future of the main characters

The official trailer of Mamma Mia 2 makes a mockery of the death of Donna’s character. The film will show Sophie pregnant, welcoming Greece to the partners in crime of her mother, Tanya (Christine Baranski) and Rosie (Julie Walters) to guide her on the road to motherhood.
A series of TBT’s show Donna (Lily James) in full youth, which later becomes mother Sophie. In a twist, the trailer causes the unexpected death of Donna. And when the story could not get better, singer Cher appears, who plays Sophie’s glamorous grandmother, reports Variety. Such a surprise!

Among other stars that will join the famous musical are Alexa Davies as young Rosie, Jessica Keenan Wynn as Tanya, Jeremy Irvine as young Sam, Josh Dylan as Bill and Hugh Skinner as young Harry.
Although the movie was filmed on the beautiful Greek island of Skopelos, the sequel scheduled for July 22nd was filmed in Croatia.
