Christmas is a time for joy and miracles. That’s what the visit of the beloved character Jack Sparrow brought to kids in London’s Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. Captain Jack Sparrow stopped by to pay a visit to all of the sick children going through rough times and giving them a bit of hope and joy.
It’s not the first time Johnny Depp puts on his Jack’s clothes and visits a Hospital. Since 2015 the actor has been visiting different hospitals worldwide while wearing Jack’s clothes, but the visit was the perfect Christmas miracle for these little guys.
Ahoy, pirates!
The actor put on his Jack Sparrow clothes and paid a visit to London’s Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, last Friday. The actor was warmly welcomed by the little patients. His daughter was once a patient in the Hospital back in 2007 when she suffered renal failure, Johnny remembers those days as really dark ones.
Joy and excitement.
The actor’s goal was happily fulfilled since everybody got really happy just by seeing him. Patients and their family couldn’t believe the surprise.
Who’s this little pirate here?
Even when some kids were too little to identify the epic pirate, Johnny reached his goal by providing their parents, who were able to recognize him, some joy. For him doing these visits and giving hopes to children and parents is really important.
Such a huge heart.
Johnny said that the visit was really a gift from them to him, he’s very grateful for it. ‘The kids are so courageous but to be able to bring a smile or a giggle to the parents means everything in the world to me.’
Families and patients happy.
People couldn’t hide the excitement of Johnny’s visit, smiles filled the place.
