I Bet Half The Teenager Population Is Freaking Out Right Now

Harry Styles is ready to hit the road. Once again, Harry made our Friday as he announced via Twitter the dates for his first solo world tour called Harry Styles Live On Tour. Starting in the US in September, the singer will visit Europe, Australia, and Singapore before wrapping it up in Japan at December. All tickets go on sale on Friday, May the 5th.

Get ready for a very intimate show with Harry

For Harry rocking enormous stadiums is something normal after his experience as part of One Direction, but he’s going back to more intimate venues for his upcoming trip with the Harry Styles World Tour.

The singer took his Twitter account on Friday, as he previously did to promote his new album and tease us hard, to announce the world tour that includes 13 US cities and several dates in Europe to finally land in Japan.Starting in the US in September, and wrapping it up in early December in Japan, all the tickets go on sale on Friday, May 5 via local ticketing agents to avoid resellers

The sales began just a week ahead of the debut of Harry’s self-titled album, which is set to release on May 12.The singer began promoting his anticipated new album and upcoming tour early in April with performances on Saturday Night Live and BBC’s The Graham Norton Show.

He’s also kicking off NBC today’s Show Summer Concert Series on May 9. Which will be followed by a week-long residency on CBS The Late Late Show with James Corden, from May 15-18.

This has been a really anticipated album

One Direction went on musical hiatus in 2016, after Zayn Malik left the boy-band and embarked his solo career. In this period, four out of five members of the former band have signed or released tracks, being Harry Styles’ album being very close to going public.

The anticipation is pretty high and rumors seem to be true from what we’ve heard from his released singles, Sign Of The Times and Ever since New York.Harry steps away from the One Direction sound and comes with a rockish sound. The singer fills the songs with vocals and killing notes, and guitar solos.

Harry has not been shy about his excitement and feeling nervous for his solo project.

In a Radio 1 interview, he said, “It’s a bit weird. I feel like I’ve been hibernating in the studio for so long…You hear it in the safety of the studio…(and now) it’s time to give birth.”

Harry’s talent was joined by top-game-producers as Jeff Bhasker, who worked with Kanye West and the Rolling Stones. And former Snow Patrol member Jonny McDaid who said about Harry’s sound, “I’m really excited by the way he’s sounding at the minute, he’s such a talent. I think the world is going to be really shocked at what he comes up with.”

Sharing some thoughts and “fundamental” opinions

As part of the promotion for his musical return and his brand new solo career, Harry has taken the world and the magazines by storm delivering his opinions on different issues.Earlier in April, in a Rolling Stone interview, he stood out for girls and the power they yield. When he was asked about being pressured to prove himself to an older audience given his young fan he said,

When he was asked about being pressured to prove himself to an older audience given his young fan he said,

“Who’s to say that young girls who like pop music — short for popular, right? — have worse musical taste than a 30-year-old hipster guy? That’s not up to you to say. Music is something that’s always changing. There are no goal posts. Young girls like the Beatles. You gonna tell me they’re not serious?”

He went on demanding respect to his young fans and to young girls and proved that the future is female, “How can you say young girls don’t get it? They’re our future. Our future doctors, lawyers, mothers, presidents, they kind of keep the world going. Teenage-girl fans — they don’t lie. If they like you, they’re there. They don’t act ‘too cool.’ They like you, and they tell you. Which is sick.”

In the same interview, he said, “Most of the stuff that hurts me about what‘s going on at the moment is not politics, it’s fundamentals. Equal rights. For everyone, all races, sexes, everything.”

This last statement has echoed recently as he opened up about social issues in the French show Quotidien. He was asked his views on Brexit and he replied, “I don’t really comment on politics. To me, I think anything that brings people together is better than things that pull people apart.”

The host, Yann Barthes then pressed him referring to the Rolling Stone interview and Harry pointed out, “That doesn’t feel like politics to me,” he says. “I think stuff like equality feels much more fundamental. I feel like everyone is equal. That doesn’t feel like politics to me.”

It’s pretty cool, and absolutely right, that Harry considers gay people and above all, everybody should have equal rights, however only in an ideal world, these issues are related to politics, in the sense that is controlled by politics. Which is why is so important to speak up fro what’s right and join the conversation.
