All about Taylor Swift’s Sexual Assault Case Against This Radio Host

Taylor Is In The Middle Of A Legal Battle Against Radio Host, David Mueller.

Taylor Swift is suing radio personality David Mueller, for alleged sexual assault and battery occurred in 2013. The trial is taking place in Denver. Andrea Swift, Taylor’s mom, took the stand to testify and expressed how the incident affected Taylor and changed the singer’s dynamic.

The awkward encounter thal led to a sexual attack trial

Taylor Swift claimed in June 2013 that Mueller slipped his hand under her dress and grabbed her buttocks while they posed together for a picture at a pre-concert “meet-and-greet” in Denver.

“It was not an accident, it was completely intentional, and I have never been so sure of anything in my life,” Taylor Swift has said in a deposition. She is expected to take the witness stand herself later in the trial.

At the time, a member of Swift’s security team later confronted Mueller, and a representative for the singer ultimately lodged a complaint with the radio station. But Swift’s mother said the police were not called for fear of publicity.

Two days later, Mueller was fired from his job at Denver radio station KYGO, where he made $150,000 a year, Reuters reported.

On Tuesday, Mueller testified that Swift’s claims were overstated and denied the accusations.

“My hand came into contact with part of her body, I felt what appeared to be or seemed to be a rib cage or ribs he said.

Mueller initiated the litigation, claiming Swift fabricated the groping story and pressured KYGO to fire him. He is seeking at least $3 million, saying the allegation cost him his job and reputation.

Swift countersued Mueller, claiming sexual assault. She is seeking a symbolic $1, saying she wants to serve as an example to other women who have been assaulted.

Distress, upset and more conservative

Whether Taylor Swift wins or loses the federal battle, the incident in question has already made the singer less trustful of the public and less open to fans, her mother testified.

Andrea Swift, who acts as part of her famous daughter’s management team, took the witness stand on Wednesday and said how the incident affected Taylor.

“It absolutely shattered our trust,” she said. Andre added Taylor was “really shaken, she was humiliated, she was horribly embarrassed.”

She also said the encounter changed their interactions with the public, explaining that Taylor Swift’s meet-and-greets are now smaller and her interaction with fans at concerts is more limited.

“I did not want every interview from now on to have to make her include what happened to her. I did not want her to have to live through the endless memes and GIFs that tabloid media and Internet trolls would come up with,” Swift said.

“We absolutely wanted to keep this private, but we did not want him to get away with it.”
