Season two coming right out
Stranger Things was the Netflix’s biggest hit of 2016. After all, what’s not to love about a bunch of kids joining forces to save one of their best friends? And if you added a telekinetic girl who rocks and unknown scary dimensions you’re in for a treat.
So, it was not surprising that Netflix signed up for a second season for the brothers Matt and Ross Duffer show. The new season will arrive this Halloween, as we could see on the trailer with everybody’s favorite buddies wearing Ghostbusters’ costumes.
We’re all dying to know what’s coming and lucky for us, the cast graced us with some hints. In an interview with People, actor Finn Wolfhard said that the second season is heading to a lot more dark direction.
“[It will be] a lot more horror-oriented,” he added. “I think people are going to like it more than the first season. … There are going to be some challenges that the characters face that are real. That are disturbing.”
Dangers everywhere
But not all dark comes from the outside, as actor Galen Matarazzo points out, some dangers might come from within.
“The great thing about this season is you get to see insights into each character on their own,” he teased. “You’re going to see a lot more into the lives of how the characters are coping with what’s been going on. … I think they’re all very emotionally scarred. They feel alone because their best friend [Will] is back and he’s not acting like their best friend anymore. He’s changed.”

Brother Duffer also revealed pretty interesting information in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. They said the stories don’t stop in season 2 and they’re heading for more seasons.
“Hopefully. you’ll come to the end of Season 2 and feel fully satisfied and want more, but you’ll feel like it has come to a conclusion,” said Ross Duffer. “But also we’ve laid the groundwork for further seasons.”
Actor Galen Matarazzo hinted that he’s getting a kinda magical creature as a pet. “It’s a little creature I get to bond with. It’s obviously not from this planet or this dimension,” Matarazzo told EW.
