Louis Vuitton Showed Stranger Things Merch On The Runway For Spring 2018

‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Premieres On October 27

‘Stranger Things’ had its own moment at the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris Fashion Week. The legendary fashion house debuted a tee with an image of our favorite heroes.

‘Stranger Things’ season 2 premieres on October 27. With this new tee we now definitely have even more to look forward too.

There’s nothing strange about this Louis Vuitton moment

There’s nothing like a Louis Vuitton moment. Especially when it delivers the perfect item for fandom. That’s exactly what happened during the Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 show at the Paris Fashion Week.

A model strutted down the runway wearing a vintage-inspired T-shirt with the faces of stars Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and Finn Wolfhard ahead of the show’s sophomore season premiere.

The black tee, which was missing actress Millie Bobby Brown, was layered over a pink poet blouse and color coordinated sheer pink pants.

Sitting front-row at the show were Alicia Vikander, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Connelly, Julianne Moore, Ruth Negga, and Michelle Williams. Also, Jaden Smith, who performed with his famous father Will Smith the night before at the new Louis Vuitton Maison at Place Vendome.

This isn’t the first time the Louis Vuitton designer has taken inspiration from film. Back in 2006, the ‘Star Wars’ expert showed robotic gold leggings for Spring 2007 reminiscent of C-3PO — Preen and Rodarte later followed in his wake, putting their own sartorial spins on the classic.

Plus, just last season, Ghesquière paid homage to the 1995 anime film ‘Ghost in the Shell’ with clothes and with music, as the soundtrack for his show consisted of the score.

We’re all guilty of charge

Looks like the fashion house’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, is just as excited about ‘Stranger Things’ second season as fans are.

Fans and followers of Ghesquiére have come to know the designer’s deep love for ‘Stranger Things’. He previously teased a collaboration in September 2016.

“I met the kids last season, and we had a very good time. And so we spoke and we thought it was very funny, maybe, to do a little citation of the series that is coming out soon in the show.” Ghesquiére told Vogue after the show.

“It’s always great to have a little accident like that in the styling. Like if the girl has kept her T-shirt from backstage in a way, and so Stranger Things … I think it was one of the most wanted clothes backstage by the girls.”
