Following last week’s suicide bombing at Manchester, people and artists have come together to help those affected by the incident. People all around the world have come together, to help and relieve the victims of the terrible accident. Locals have been offering shelter to people stranded and Tom Hardy made a fundraising to help the Red Cross.

Ariana Grande was not left behind. After canceling dates of her world tour, the singer is going back to Manchester to share some love. The singer previously said she would come back to hold a tribute to victims, and she’s doing it by offering a concert along with fellow artists.

Grande confirmed the news on Tuesday. By letting the world know that she would headline on Sunday the ‘One Love Manchester Concert’. The event will take place at the Old Trafford cricket ground. It will raise funds for the Red Cross’s Manchester Emergency Fund and about 50,000 people are expected to attend.

The £40 each-tickets sold out in less than an hour. The fund’s total currently stands at more than £6 million. Red Cross chief executive, Mike Adamson, praised Grande’s “gesture of solidarity”.

Artists join forces after the terrible incident

Since the announcing of the benefit concert, artists keep joining the headline. Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Take That, Usher, Pharrell Williams and One Direction star Niall Horan will lead the line-up. Robbie Williams, Little Mix, and the Black Eyed Peas recently joined the all-stars concert.

The ‘One Love Manchester’ concert will be broadcast live on BBC One on Sunday from 6.55pm to 10 pm and will be available to watch on demand via BBC iPlayer.

Not only artists came together for the kind gesture, the community has also done the same. ITV moved the Britain’s Got Talent final, which was originally on Sunday, to Tuesday as they didn’t want to distract from the important cause.

A testimonial game for the Manchester United player Michael Carrick, due to take place on Sunday evening, has been rescheduled to kick off at 2.30pm to avoid clashing with the concert. Such great things can happen when we come together.
