Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, already the parents of two and longing for a third, have hired a surrogate to help make it happen.
The couple’s decision follows Kardashian’s doctors strongly advised her not to go through a third.
Soon, there could be another little Kardashian-West
Kim Kardashian and her hubby, Kanye West, have decided to have another baby. Reports say that the couple decided to go for a surrogate as a third pregnancy could be life-threatening for her.
The news broke on Wednesday, that the couple paid a surrogacy agency nearly $70,000 to find a surrogate. Who will be paid about $45,000 for 10 months of carrying a pregnancy. Also, with a bonus of $5,000 for each possible twin or triplet child.
This way the reality star joins a noble line of celebrity couples that have used surrogates for the birth of their children.
Including, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Elton John and David Furnish, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, and Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.
The couple is already parents to daughter North West and son Saint West. And we can’t wait to see another Kardashian-West!
Complicated pregnancies
Kim has made the question about whether to have another child public in the past, as well as her fertility issues. In fact, she admitted to E! News in 2015, “Every medical issue that you could probably have, I feel like I get, and I worry so much about it.” At the time she was trying to get pregnant with her second baby.
Kim previously blogged about the hardships of her first pregnancy, when she was diagnosed with early-onset preeclampsia and had to deliver North at just 34 weeks (about six weeks early).
Then, in a November 2016 episode of Keeping Up Wth The Kardashians, she said she “would love to maybe” have another baby.
Kim opened up about her second pregnancy and claimed she had a “miserable” time carrying Saint. “That’s my experience and I’m not gonna pretend that it’s not,” she said.
However, the reality star still wanted to have another child. So she talked it with her OB/GYN Dr. Paul Crane to weigh her options, given her complicated pregnancies and deliveries.
Kim suffered from placenta accreta in her first pregnancy, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition that makes giving birth difficult because the placenta is attached too deeply to the uterine wall.
Finally, Kim opened to other options and weighed in using a surrogate.
