These Curves Campaign.

We often hear in advertisements the phrase real women have curves. This is absolutely right, every girl has curves. The thig is that we’re used to seeing the same kind of curves, often portrayed by conventional models with smaller sizes. This is really negative when it comes to selling a product destined to plus size women. It seems like the curves have simply become a washed out phrase.

Well, the plus size fashion brand Torrid, decided to change the game. Torrid’s latest campaign”These Curves” features real women instead of the same typical models. Women made out of flesh, bones, and lots of curves, sexy curves!

These beautiful women are modeling the new lingerie collection that includes bras, panties, for women of sizes 10 to 30.

Calling all the sexy ladies!

On Friday, the brand asked their fans via Instagram to share a sexy selfie explaining “what makes #TheseCurves all yours.” The winner will win a trip for two to LA.

The move was really genius, not only it engaged the brand and the customers but quickly became a beautiful movement by sharing inspiration and empowering words. Women shared their stories behind the hashtag.

Torrid is really engaged with body positivism and encouraging curvy girls to love themselves. What better moment to love yourself than Valentine’s Day? This way the brand promotes self-love and gives these curvy beauties a confidence boost.

Real women, real curves.

The beautiful group of real women modeling the lingerie products includes customers chosen from the Instagram hashtag #thesecurves. The campaign is also supported by bloggers and digital influencers such as Nicole Simone, Anna O’Brien, Natalie Hage, and Liz Black.

Celebrating curves in every shape and size.

It’s so great to see how little by little, the fashion industry is taking into account and respecting every shape and size. It’s even greater to see how people share inspiring and empowering words about their bodies, after all, you gotta love yourself and the skin you’re in.

Give it up for those beautiful curves!
